Cadaver Memorial

Of course like all my fellow colleagues I should be studying for my exams right now, but whatever......

As most of you know first year medical school involves gross anatomy. This is a course in which we dissect the entire body. I must admit I was nervous my first day cutting threw the flesh of my 80 something female cadaver, but eventually it become a normal day activity. I was no longer bothered by the smell of formaldehyde, the 50 temperature, or the smell of a dead body. After cutting into the chest and holding someones heart, I became amazed at the human anatomy that many only read about. Unfortunately, I also became very desensitized to the fact that the cadaver I was cutting on had once been a person. Her husband had rested on her chested and listened to her heart beat, her mouth had tasted the many meals she cooked for her family, her arms held her children when they needed comfort, her eyes saw her grandchildren grow tall, and her hand had once been interlaced with her lover. Luckily this past Wednesday, I was given the opportunity to reflect on the wonderful gift that Mary Sue, the name I gave my body, had given me and you. God forbidden my patients be the first time I ever cut on the body. Her donation to my education is irreplaceable. I can never repay her for all she has taught me, the confidence she game me, my first A on a Medical School Test, and for the friends I have gained while standing over her trying to tell the difference between arteries and nerves. Mary Sue you may now officially RIP. Thank you again.

Nicki Versus Kim

So Kim and Nicki are beefing, we all knew it would come to this. Instead of uniting, black people tend to hate off anothers success. Can Kim not be happy for Nicki? Well, after Kim's diss track I guess I will never hear a Kim and Nicki track. Too bad, it would of been sick. Female rappers have the potential to dominate the game but instead they have to beef with each other. What is your opinion?

Who hasn't read the article about the Duke University Student who wrote her thesis on the "art of being a hoe". ok ok maybe that was not the exact title but she did explore the criteria for good sex. How so you may ask? By having sex with LOTS of Duke men and then ranking them! First and foremost which professor approved this ish. Her thesis was her flippin' SEX LIFE. Is this even researchable? Who are her sources? What makes her an expert on sex or what makes sex great? Well, I'm not going to hate on the girl. If she got an A, much props for bamboozling her professor. If not #fail. Everyone now knows your entire sexual history. What do you all think? Would this of even went down in the Black community? Even if Black women decided to rank men amongst themselves, I do not believe we would ever publish it. lol.
